Number of Sessions - Generally clients feel better during the first session performing onSessions pagee exercise menu. The results can be instant.

Depending on how long you have had an injury or dysfunction, the number of treatments will vary. On average a program consists of between 4-8 sessions depending on each individual. As a program for the entire body each session has a different goal and the sessions have a cumulative effect, with each session building on the previous one. Sessions last between 60 and 90 minutes and are usually spaced at one to two week intervals.

General strengthening and conditioning work is carried out once function is restored. We recommend periodic assessments for all of our valued clients to ensure that proper function is maintained, and the benefits of our program continue to be maximised. This could involve periodic sessions with us or continued work at home.

What happens in a session

During the first session, you will be asked about your physical history and your future goals and reasons for attending. The session involves detailed postural photographs and it is recommended you wear shorts and vest/T shirt. Client privacy is respected. During a session, you will be performing functional exercise and an ‘e-cise’ menu will be prescribed.  The exercises are gentle and can be undertaken by people of all ages and levels of fitness. The client is expected to continue the menu at home between sessions.
